Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all boiler equipment in the plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain communication with team members and other support groups to ensure operational goals are met.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the boiler and refrigeration systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all boiler, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment throughout the facility.
  • Monitor system operation using gauges and instruments and test lines, components, and connections for leaks.
  • Perform boiler feed water, condensate, and cooling tower water analysis and make necessary adjustments to maintain desirable results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training
  • CIRO certification within 1 year, and 2 years' experience OR recognized boiler safety training
