Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Miami. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
  • Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • One year of nursing experience, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and teamwork
