Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health and wellness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- At least 2 years of RN experience, Med Surg, Tele, Surgical Oncology, ENT experience highly preferred.
- CITI required within 3 months of hire.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card preferred, or within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods and procedures, and health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Excellent patient experience skills, ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
