About the Position

Altus Power is seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to excel as a Production Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract data from our Data Acquisition System (DAS) Provider, validate data, and perform performance reporting and analysis.
  • Set up and program DAS software in conjunction with Energy Operations Managers (EOMs) and DAS Provider.
  • Conduct performance testing (i.e., Capacity Test) on new projects.
  • Monitor and provide diagnostic support for EOMs.
  • Identify operational issues and initiate problem resolution with EOMs.
  • Calculate and analyze energy losses incurred from equipment outages.
  • Provide data to the Customer Service Team for reporting.
  • Assist and support in data analytics based on performance needs.
Qualifications / Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, or electrical engineering. A graduate degree is a bonus but not required.
  • Experience with production analytics, performance testing, and system assessments of energy assets is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in changing priorities and assignments while managing rapidly changing information.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with data in various formats.
  • Self-starter, strong initiatives, and an excellent communicator.
  • System and product level mindset.
  • Organization, detailed-oriented nature, and strong initiative.
