Job Opportunity

Prinsco is seeking a seasoned Procurement/Purchasing Manager to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Willmar, Minnesota. This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including dental, vision, 100% paid life insurance, and two medical plan options. Additionally, we offer a 401k that is matched up to 5% deferred and 100% vested immediately upon participation. The salary range for this position is $90k-$110k.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting 18 locations throughout the US:

  • Develop and implement corporate supply chain processes and standards, driving improvements in costs and contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, performance, and competitiveness as well as analyze market data, competitor information, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Develop, review, and manage contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business and a minimum of ten years of practical leadership experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across an organization.
  • Professional demeanor with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including analyzing data to reach valid conclusions.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and proficient ERP system skills.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of purchasing professionals.
