An industry leading manufacturer is looking for a growth-oriented Procurement Manager to join their team of professional near Willmar, MN.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the corporate supply chain processes and standards, driving improvements in costs and contracts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers, analyzing their capabilities, performance, and competitiveness as well as analyze market data, competitor information, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:


  • A bachelor’s degree in business or similar is required
  • A minimum of 5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of managing a team of buyers is required
  • Proven negotiations and influencing skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across an organization is required
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of purchasing professionals is required
