Key Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving: Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance, determine the most economical and efficient shipping method, select the appropriate shipping container, and pack items to ensure safe delivery.
- Inventory Management: Receive and unload incoming materials, compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipments, and sort, count, package, label, insure, unpack, and/or log inventory that is shipped or received.
- Equipment Operation: Use scan guns, pallet jacks, tow motors, shrink wrap, box cutters, and other equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, with demonstrated work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Skills and Attributes: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities of low to moderate complexity, and a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Moderate physical effort, handling of average-weight objects up to 20 pounds, and temporary assignments may require more continuous physical effort in handling objects/equipment.
