Job Title: Field Technician

The Field Technician is a key member of our technology team, responsible for providing technical support to our users. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and software applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Manage project resources, including people, equipment, and services.
  • Communicate effectively with administrative staff, school principals, and teachers.
  • Implement established hardware and software maintenance procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of new solutions and ideas.
  • Maintain detailed records and notes related to projects and procedures.
  • Represent the organization professionally and treat everyone with respect.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or substantial experience with Windows-based computers, software, and networking.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Technical Support role.
  • 1 year experience within a school setting required.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate users.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment as needed.
