We are seeking a Program Specialist for a full-time role. This position entails overseeing the safety and well-being of individuals with diverse needs in a residential environment, while facilitating activities and community engagement aligned with each individual's Individual Plan (IP). The Program Specialist will report directly to the Program Operations Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and supervise activities tailored to the specific IPs of individuals, fostering opportunities for community engagement.
- Oversee the duties of Direct Support Professionals, ensuring effective support delivery.
- Maintain accurate attendance and payroll records for Direct Support Professionals.
- Conduct regular meetings with Direct Support Professionals to assess program needs and provide necessary training.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and fiscal accountability across all residential programs.
- Uphold adherence to established policies and procedures within the program.
- Participate in the assessment and development of Individual Plans, including annual updates and necessary revisions.
- Engage in the IP process, including team reviews and implementation in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Operations Director.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- A valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations is essential.
- A Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution with one year of direct experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, OR
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with two years of direct experience, OR
- An Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited institution with four years of direct experience.
