About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Alterations Customer Service Representative to join our team at David's Bridal. As a key member of our Alterations department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and Service Customers: Greet and welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm, communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt your style to suit their needs.
  • Manage Customer Flow: Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star customer experience.
  • Meet Service Vows: Meet all service vows, including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs, and Be There for all customers, and complete operational checklist tasks.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time, contribute to the store's achievement of Five-Star Customer Service, and proactively address customer concerns with confidence.
  • Promote Alterations Services: Effectively communicate how alterations can play an important role in perfecting the dress for the customer's event, promote all alterations services and personalization options, and maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience.
  • Maintain Store Standards: Maintain high dress code standards, greet and escort all alterations customers to and from alterations for appointments, press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise, and follow quality control guidelines.
  • Build Relationships: Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty, support inventory management, and process special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards for all merchandise.
  • Support Cash Wrap: Support all cash wrap behaviors and process transactions with accuracy to make every customer feel celebrated.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent degree is required.
  • 1-2 Years Retail Experience: 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment is required.
  • Prior Sewing Experience: Prior sewing experience is helpful.
  • Computerized POS System: Prior experience with computerized POS systems is required.
