Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Citizens. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for the protection, integration, and upkeep of our critical systems used to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of infrastructure components and mission-critical resources.
  • Forecast increased systems traffic and/or demand, and recommend solutions to ensure ongoing accessibility and security.
  • Report on client health, stability of systems, compliance to policies, and efficacy of management activities.
  • Provide 'defense in depth' protection through client operating system patching and vulnerability management, third-party application updates, endpoint hardening, and policy management technologies.
  • Design, plan, and execute systems tests; assess the readiness of current management solutions and determine the adequacy of technologies and software.
  • Provide Tier III troubleshooting support to the IT organization, managing escalating tickets, tracking, and analyzing the frequency of high-importance tickets, and developing solutions.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to offer training, support, and technical guidance to nontechnical colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac client, and iOS/Android experience.
  • MECM, Intune, Jamf endpoint management expertise.
  • Client patching technologies knowledge.
  • Scripting and query creation skills (PowerShell, SQL, Bash, AppleScript).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read system logs to identify root cause.
  • Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Entra/AAD, GPO, Intune, and Jamf Policies.
  • Understanding of Office 365 technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years working experience in client endpoint management supporting an enterprise environment.
Work Schedule:
  • Hours per Week: 40.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 Eastern.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors, including work location and relevant skills and experience.
