Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Super Pool team at Medical City Dallas. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, age-specific care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the pediatric acute and critically ill patient.
  • Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care, individualized, family-centered, and holistic.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment and participate in MCCH initiatives and process improvement.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position (if hired after 6/1/12).
  • 2 years of critical care type experience required with competency to float to others within Tier 2.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.
