Pediatric Emergency Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the pediatric emergency department. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN required.
- Current Texas RN license or RN compact license.
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Certification in specialty required within 1 year.
- Completion of charge nurse course required within one year.
- Other leadership training and activity in professional organizations highly preferred.
- Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/management experience is preferred.
