NICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all functions in the neonatal intensive care unit during designated shifts
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit
- Assist with staff scheduling, inventory control, and management of supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
- At least two (2) years of Level IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, NTD Cardiac Stable Module, Neonate Resuscitate, and STABLE certifications required within specified timeframes
