Job Summary

The Nurse Manager of Pediatric ICU is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Medical City Dallas. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of healthcare professionals, prioritize patient care, and ensure the highest level of quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals in the Pediatric ICU
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Monitor and analyze patient outcomes and implement changes to improve care
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in pediatric critical care preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
