Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Temple Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine pulmonary function testing, exercise studies, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. Additionally, they will assist in the development and implementation of pulmonary rehabilitation programs for patients with respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, and airway resistance.
- Conduct exercise studies, such as O2 titration and 6-minute walk tests.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pulmonary rehabilitation programs for patients with respiratory conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Perform quality control procedures and calibrate equipment as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or Associate's Degree from an AMA-accredited school of Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification required.
- CPFT or RPFT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- 1 year of experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or pulmonary function testing required.
- Experience in calibrating equipment, performing quality control procedures, and conducting clinical exercise tests preferred.
