Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Aircraft Parts Coordinator is accountable for the procurement and distribution of aviation components and supplies, reporting directly to the Aircraft Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely processing of internal invoices.
  • Document completed work orders accurately.
  • Manage the initiation and closure of purchase orders.
  • Conduct thorough inventory assessments and maintain accuracy.
  • Verify proper billing of purchase orders.
  • Generate purchase orders and communicate with suppliers.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to uphold supply levels and inventory in accordance with established policies and operational needs.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and vendors, as the Parts Coordinator often serves as the initial point of contact for our organization.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Flexibility to work early or late as workload necessitates, including occasional weekends.
  • Experience with aircraft parts and supply chain management is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with significant interaction with customers and vendors, including manufacturers of new aircraft and engines.
