Job Summary:

As a Logistics Coordinator at Air Methods, you will play a critical role in supporting field aircraft operations by managing the flow of inventory, parts, and supplies. Your responsibilities will include picking, shipping, and receiving of parts, supplies, and special tools, as well as processing Ramco-generated Material Movement Documents. You will work closely with scheduling high-priority shipments with various carriers to ensure timely delivery of parts to aircraft undergoing maintenance. Additionally, you will be responsible for requesting and adhering to departmental budgets for office and shipping supplies, as well as adhering to budgetary guidelines for expenses associated with freight and movement of materials within the Air Methods organization. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Logistics Center in a neat and organized manner, ensuring a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, shipping, and receiving of parts, supplies, and special tools for support of field bases.
Processing of Ramco-generated Material Movement Documents for aircraft parts, goods, and/or supplies for field maintenance facilities and local shops.
Scheduling high-priority shipments with various carriers to ensure timely delivery of parts to aircraft undergoing maintenance.
Requesting and adhering to departmental budgets for office and shipping supplies.
Maintaining the Logistics Center in a neat and organized manner, ensuring a safe work environment.

Requirements:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum two (2) years aviation and/or parts/logistics operations experience.
Ability to operate a Fork Lift and pass a certification of operation test after initial OSHA training.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to count, and excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and drive at night for AOG on-call requirements.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize and make conscious business decisions.
Dependable and self-motivated, with a professional attitude and ability to be a team player.
