Job Title: Equipment Specialist

Job Summary:

Suna Solutions is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to join our team. As an Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and documentation. You will work closely with the manufacturing engineering team to develop, execute, and test new and existing products to meet current and future production volume, quality, OHS, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform breakdown maintenance activities to quickly resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Set up and configure equipment and tools to meet production needs.
  • Analyze equipment faults and identify solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment that complies with OH&S, 5S, and GMP requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to track equipment performance and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Document and record maintenance activities for equipment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge of machine electrical systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Good computer skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical manufacturing industry.
  • At least a diploma or a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
