About Music Kids

Musickids is a leading provider of instrumental education programs for young students. We are seeking a qualified Music Educator to join our team as a Faculty Member.

Job Summary

The Music Educator will be responsible for teaching small group classes in one or more of our partner schools. This is a 10-month position, with opportunities to extend employment for the additional 2 summer months. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of teaching experience, either in music classes or a traditional classroom setting.

Responsibilities
  • Teach small group classes in one or more of our partner schools
  • Manage student records and provide meaningful learning updates to parents
  • Support students virtually
  • Promote the program and drive enrollment at partner school events
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of teaching experience
  • Ability to teach more than one instrument at a beginning level
  • Strong interest in working with a wide range of student age groups
  • Passion for having a direct impact on the primary education system
  • Ability to be flexible and creative in teaching style
  • Experience with leadership or project management
  • Reliable, organized, and timely
What We Offer
  • Annual salary ranges from $34,320 to $51,480
  • Additional benefits available for employees working 20+ hours
  • Above average commute time bonuses available for all employees
