We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Ampirical Solutions. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading substation and protection & control (P&C) projects, ensuring the successful commissioning of large substation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop commissioning plans for substation projects, including physical design and protection and control (P&C).
- Develop relay settings files for SEL, GE, and Basler relays from protection summary sheets and AC/DC schematics.
- Responsible for testing of current transformers, protective relays, and SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- 4+ years of experience in Commissioning, or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Detailed knowledge of relay systems and substation equipment.
- Understanding of substation physical design and P&C, as well as protection concepts around bus, transformer, transmission line, and distribution line protection.
