Job Title: Production Supervisor - Gleaners2Go

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the receipt, production, and distribution of Gleaners2Go orders to program partners. This role ensures that all operational and customer service objectives are met while maintaining compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all activities relating to order fulfillment for the program and assembly areas
  • Lead and monitor the accuracy of production and assembly activities for Gleaners2Go
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver product in a timely fashion
  • Manage inventory, including ensuring food supply availability matches website content and adjusting product as needed
  • Work with the Volunteer team to plan for volunteer needs and create volunteer training to support order fulfillment and provide an exceptional volunteer experience
  • Assist with logistics in preparing a site to be a pick-up location
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to all food safety guidelines
  • Supervise, hire, train, motivate, coach, manage performance, discipline, and evaluate direct reports
  • Administrative and budgetary responsibilities

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of administrative/customer service experience
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain or Logistics is desired
  • Multi-Lingual preferred, but not required

Qualifications:

  • Ability to train and lead a group of individuals
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communications skills
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, to count accurately, and maintain accurate records
  • eCommerce/POS platform upkeep, including process and developmental input
  • Ability to use manual and electronic warehouse documentation tools
  • Ability to create, analyze, and present reports
  • Forklift certification (or ability to be certified)
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to think creatively
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment with multifaceted demands
  • A commitment to full and visible participation as a hunger relief leader in the community
