Job Overview

MRINetwork Jobs is seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor to lead our food processing/packaging facility in Indianapolis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving production goals, fostering relationships, and promoting a culture of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Coordinate daily inventories, supplies, and operational activities to meet production targets.
  • Team Leadership: Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to optimize efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Training and Development: Conduct employee training in equipment operations and work and safety procedures.
  • Performance Analysis: Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
  • Documentation: Document all records outlined by company policies, such as production records, HACCP, good manufacturing policies, standard operating procedures, and food safety and quality plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or chemical) or Bachelor's Degree in Management (Manufacturing or Operations).
  • Experience: Minimum of five years experience in Production Supervision AND Food or Beverage Manufacturing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in a dry ingredients food processing/packaging setting is highly desirable.
