Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and Response: Patrol assigned areas, respond to emergency calls, and provide assistance to the public.

  • Enforcement: Enforce traffic laws, issue citations and warnings, and make arrests as necessary.
  • Specialized Assignments: Participate in specialized units, such as narcotics, juvenile, and arson investigations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 60 college credit hours or an associate's degree.
  • Experience: At least 0-4 years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer, or currently enrolled in Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET).
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stress and hazardous conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
