Pediatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit at Dell Children's Medical Center. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess and document patient condition, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote health and well-being.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas required.
- 2+ years of experience in pediatric nursing, with a focus on intermediate care unit settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
