We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Coordinate with members of the healthcare team to provide well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs to ensure a smooth transition to home or other healthcare settings.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
