We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Liberty Mutual. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing our underwriting control framework within Global Transaction Solutions (GTS) global operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze existing underwriting controls across all GTS regions and classes of business.
- Develop and maintain high-quality reporting on the adherence of controls in place to relevant forums.
- Collaborate with the Head of Technical & Underwriting Controls, Americas (HOTUC) and Global Operations Manager (GOM) to establish a framework and approach to reviewing GTS' Operating Manuals and Guides.
- Assist in carrying out timetabled thematic reviews and maintain an annual calendar of recurring reviews.
- Develop an understanding of GTS and Liberty controls in place and how GTS can measure performance against the requirements.
- Demonstrated research, problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, and relationship management skills.
- Business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and awareness of market conditions.
- Solid knowledge of Excel and developing knowledge of available data sources, strengths, and shortcomings.
- Experience in Audit or Controls environment an advantage.
