We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AI Infrastructure team at Cloudflare, a fast-growing and innovative company.
This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our AI infrastructure, including scheduling models, routing requests, and ensuring high performance across the platform.
The ideal candidate has experience leading high-performing teams, comfortable with tight deadlines and short release cycles, and possesses strong systems-level programming skills. Expert-level knowledge in modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, or modern C++ is also required.
What You'll Do- Lead the AI Infrastructure team to develop and maintain scalable AI solutions.
- Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to optimize AI model performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other Cloudflare services.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems and AI infrastructure.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex projects on time.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, or modern C++.
Cloudflare offers a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience, plus equity and benefits package.
