About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our team at Mt Hood Hospice. As a Hospice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comfort and support to terminally ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Administer medication and perform other nursing tasks as needed
  • Work with caregivers to ensure excellent patient care
  • Alleviate symptoms and provide support during the end-of-life phase
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Hospice Nurse or Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines
  • Committed to safety precautions and high ethical standards
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $45.00 per hour
  • No more than 16 hours per week
