Key Responsibilities- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accurate policy updates and account information.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related questions and information.
- Marketing and Quoting: Responsible for the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals, identifying and compiling information regarding account renewals.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating, with experience working with various carriers and their underwriters.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems, with experience in applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360 software.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.
- License: Possess a Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail broker environment.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
