Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Trial Attorney to join our team at the Department of Justice. As a key member of our Litigation Unit, you will play a critical role in leading our efforts to combat white-collar crime and ensure the fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support trial attorneys and staff in the Litigation Unit
  • Assist and advise Deputy Chiefs and attorneys in each of the Fraud Section's three litigating units
  • Provide guidance on legal issues, including conducting research, drafting memoranda, and editing work product
  • Oversee the Fraud Section's dedicated appellate attorney staff
Requirements
  • J.D. degree or equivalent
  • Active membership in the bar in good standing
  • At least five years of post-J.D. legal experience, including at least five years of federal prosecution experience
  • Experience in complex white-collar investigations and prosecutions
  • Experience in supporting, litigating, and supervising federal or state criminal cases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a criminal prosecutor
  • Experience with the federal judiciary
  • Experience with law enforcement agencies
