Job Description

Project Coordinator - Elevator Installation

Summary: As a Project Coordinator for Elevator Installation, you will be responsible for organizing jobs, ordering necessary equipment, and facilitating communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

• Organize the process of jobs, ensuring seamless communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.

• Release jobs to production with the manufacturer upon approval, clearly and accurately communicating customer specifications and delivery expectations.

• Collaborate with Superintendents and Field Supervisors to ensure project accuracy.

• Collect payment for completed construction jobs.

• Organize closeout documents.

Order Management:

• Order permits and necessary equipment.

• Issue change orders and submittals.

• Order warranty parts and RMA reports.

Communication and Liaison:

• Facilitate effective communication between manufacturers, general contractors, owners, and United Elevator Services.

• Provide clear and accurate updates to all parties involved in the projects.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of project specifications and status.

• Ensure all documentation related to job orders, change orders, and closeouts is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in planning and scheduling.

• Four (4) year college degree or higher in business, scheduling, or construction (preferred).

Skills:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Environmental Conditions:

The employee will primarily work in an office environment. The employee may be exposed to moderate noise.
