Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team at The Lubrizol Corporation. As an Environmental Engineering Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our facility's environmental management programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of environmental management programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of environmental programs and initiatives for various environmental media.
  • Gather data, perform calculations, and complete reports to be submitted to regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare permits, reports, forms, and other routine and non-routine submittals for various environmental media.
  • Conduct data reviews, create documentation, and complete environmental systems updates.
  • Assist with coordinating required testing events.
  • Collaborate with personnel throughout the facility to implement and maintain environmental compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Studies from an accredited university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, with attention to detail.
  • Interest in environmental engineering work.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
