CNO Reverse Engineer Job Summary

Helm Point Solutions is seeking a skilled CNO Reverse Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will possess a strong background in cyber network operations (CNO) and reverse engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and deconstruct software and systems to understand their functionality, identify vulnerabilities, and determine the impact of those vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of malicious software to understand its behavior, capabilities, and potential impact.
  • Identify and document vulnerabilities in software and systems, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Develop tools and scripts to automate the reverse engineering and analysis process.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of findings, methodologies, and tools used.
  • Work closely with other cybersecurity professionals, developers, and stakeholders to share findings and support the development of secure software.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on reverse engineering techniques and best practices.
  • Support incident response efforts by analyzing and reversing malicious code found in compromised systems.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in CNO reverse engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
  • Strong understanding of reverse engineering tools and techniques (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg).
  • Experience with malware analysis and vulnerability research.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GREM, OSCP).
  • Experience with network forensics and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated or secure environment.
