Position Summary:We are seeking dedicated Full-Time Environmental Service Technicians for the second shift. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various locations within a healthcare setting.
Shift Details:Hours: 4 PM - 12:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $15.91 plus $0.90 shift differential
Includes every third weekend and every other holiday
Pay increase after 90 days of employment to $16.86
- Perform thorough cleaning and polishing of lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors, dust furniture and equipment, and polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
- Replenish bathroom supplies and transport small equipment or tools between departments.
- Flu vaccination required.
- Experience in the janitorial field is advantageous.
- Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
- Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug testing are mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with arms. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs is necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Work Environment:Employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
