Hospital Cleaning Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Housekeeper to join our team at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. As a Hospital Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, hallways, and other areas of the hospital. This is a full-time position working 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of $15.91 plus $0.90 shift differential.
Responsibilities:- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polish metalwork
- Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments
- Flu shot required
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
