Key Responsibilities

The role of DevOps is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of Mainspring's products and the overall efficiency of the organization. Unlike conventional cloud-focused DevOps roles, our software encompasses real-time coding in C and C++, requiring continuous integration testing on hardware, alongside desktop data analysis tools in scripted languages and cloud-based software that interfaces with our field devices. As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the environment that supports our software development, manufacturing, and production processes.

  • Maintain and enhance tools and scripts that automate the software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure and software development environments, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Manage both on-site and cloud servers for development and production purposes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with the software product lifecycle and a keen interest in maintaining software development environments, including source code management, cloud configuration, access control, security, Linux, and scripting languages, as well as cloud-based continuous integration.
  • Experience with Linux systems, bash, and Python scripting.
  • A motivated and self-directed contributor with a passion for technology.

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a base salary range of $100,000 to $115,000, complemented by pre-IPO stock options and comprehensive benefits. The salary will be tailored to the candidate's experience.
