Job Description

Job Summary:

Vantage Construction Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our commercial construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial concept to close-out, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating and Pre-Construction: Collaborate with our President, Executive Vice President, and Estimator to establish subcontractor and vendor lists for each project. Attend pre-construction and pre-bid meetings, ensuring a complete bid package is assembled.
  • Project Management: Oversee project management processes, delegating work as needed. Develop preliminary construction schedules, budgets, and value engineering plans.
  • Administration: Manage administrative tasks, including filing procedures, document distribution, and document format and quality.
  • Safety: Supervise and enforce Vantage's Safety Program, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in base building projects.
  • College degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of project management software, specifically Procore.
  • Familiarity with commercial contracting industry requirements, drawings, and specifications.
