Project Manager

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join its Washington, DC operations based in Ashburn, VA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance. They will also prepare RFI's and submittals, conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders. Additionally, they will create and implement job schedules, coordinate with field supervisors and foremen, and create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in construction management and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Construction Science or a related discipline. They will also possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and a clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills, able to work in a team environment and learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job. They will also have customer service skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure and deadline.
Preferred requirements include experience with mission critical, clean room/pharmaceutical, exterior facade/metal panel, working knowledge of Procore, OSHA Certification, and a willingness to travel/relocate based on project needs.
