Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse
Job Summary:Children's Health (Dallas) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Peritoneal Dialysis department. As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate patient care, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines to assess patient needs and develop an appropriate plan of care.
- Ensure patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights, and guest relations.
- Oversee care delivered by patient care team, coordinate plan of care, and provide education and learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement an effective plan of care, promoting patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- At least 1 year of job-related experience required.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas required.
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association required.
