Job Summary

Zoetis, a leading manufacturer of animal pharmaceuticals, is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a Calibration Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our equipment, contributing to the production of high-quality medicines for dogs, cats, and livestock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations on a wide range of equipment, utilizing calibration standards for pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity, and other equipment functions.
  • Operate calibration standards, hand, and power tools with competence and precision.
  • Conduct filter certification, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, as well as performing preventative/predictive maintenance.
  • Understand and apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) when completing assigned work and paperwork, including work orders, SOPs, SAP (CMMS System), and equipment logbooks.
  • Learn and comply with regulatory requirements, such as APHIS, VMD, and OSHA.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; two years of technical training/experience preferred.
  • Previous calibration experience is highly preferred, with prior experience in regulated (FDA, USDA, etc.) or GMP-industry preferred.
  • Two years of maintenance/repair experience required.
