About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Troubleshooting: Use testing devices to identify electrical problems and perform diagnostic assessments
- Safety: Ensure safety and quality control by following safety regulations and running tests on electrical systems
- Planning: Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the best placement of electrical components
- Calibration: Calibrate instruments to meet the needs of a job or client
- Troubleshooting electrical issues
- Performing preventive maintenance
The work environment is heated but not cooled. It usually remains comfortable because there's no corrugator at this facility. With all the machines running, it is a loud environment. The facility is not dirty, dealing with cardboard, so clothes will not get ruined or dirty. The dress code includes steel or composite toes, jeans/pants, T-shirt, and layers as needed. PPE includes steel toes/composite, safety glasses (provided), and hearing protection (provided). The hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm, with opportunities for additional overtime.
