Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Service Department Coordinator RN to join our team at Keota Health Care. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of the Nursing Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routinely assess residents' needs and develop effective care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Prepare and distribute MDS schedules to facilitate efficient assessment and care planning.
  • Transmit MDS data to the state on a timely basis and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and triggers to enhance resident care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in this state.
  • Over one year's experience as an MDS assessment coordinator in Long-Term Care.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $40.00 per hour, negotiable based on applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
