Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Hand Therapy treatment areas for patients by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following established guidelines and regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and Hand Therapists, addressing patient concerns and questions.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for treatment areas, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
  • Perform routine maintenance on Hand Therapy equipment, troubleshooting issues and reporting malfunctions.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, including scheduling appointments and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Participate in department goal-setting and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with familiarity in occupational or physical therapy concepts.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and electronic health records experience.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Valid Mississippi driver's license and ability to travel to various clinic locations.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
