Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Cape Cod Healthcare Inc. This role is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to provide exceptional patient care and support our clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clinicians in providing clinical care to patients, including managing schedules and patient flow to optimize care delivery
  • Obtain vital signs, input clinical information into electronic health records, and perform medication reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, clean and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and notify supervisors to order necessary supplies and equipment
  • Administer routine injections under the supervision of a physician and document in real-time
  • Coordinate care when clinicians are not immediately available, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and staff
  • Participate in practice and department meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote quality patient care
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN) or school of nursing (RN)
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers
  • Experience with current office technology and proficiency with computer office applications (Electronic Medical/Health Records, MS Office, etc.)
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting preferred
