Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Revive Staffing Solutions Inc, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough technical analysis and testing of our software releases to validate and verify the entire application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Review: Participate in reviews of business requirements and collaborate with systems analysts and developers to thoroughly test application changes.
  • Technical Analysis: Understand the functional specification and scope of releases to design robust testing harnesses that ensure quality delivery.
  • Database Management: Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval from multi-database environments, requiring strong knowledge of Oracle databases.
  • Systems Analysis: Apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems, demonstrating a broad knowledge of data sources, flow, and interactions.
  • Test Strategy Development: Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand product specifics and create corresponding test strategies.
  • Manual Testing: Execute manual testing on frontend (UI) and backend (API) systems.
  • Testing Suite Development: Develop and maintain testing suites for large-scale Salesforce environments.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Detailed knowledge of Salesforce applications and client applications.
  • Testing Experience: 3+ years of relevant testing experience with a strong background in software QA, including 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.
  • Database Experience: 2+ years of relational database experience, including generating complex queries, setting up database connections, and automating query processing.
  • Automation Tools: Experience in automated and manual testing in cloud environments, particularly for AI/client applications, and proficiency in BDD/Selenium and other automation tools.
  • Agile Collaboration: Experience using and sharing knowledge of Agile team collaboration and requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability: Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology.
  • Certifications: Any Salesforce certification would be a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, technical degree required.
