As a Fleet Mechanic, you will report directly to the Fleet Manager and be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment. Your duties will include troubleshooting vehicle issues, performing repairs, and routine inspections and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct daily routine inspections of vehicles and inform the manager of any issues.
  • Document all phases of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
  • Maintain communication with drivers and management regarding maintenance and service of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to the fleet.
  • Adhere to company work safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Occasional traveling to other work sites.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a mechanic.
  • Ability to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have own set of personal tools.
  • California driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
