Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that helps develop life-saving medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen donors for eligibility, take and record vital signs, and prepare donor charts.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring their proper function and safety.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Ensure a clean and professional work environment, adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, such as a hospital or lab.
- Strong customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
