Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Trainee. As a Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for learning and developing your skills in sales and support operations, with a focus on equipment sales and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our equipment products and services, including our Ag and Construction business.
  • Learn and become proficient in our business systems, including DBS, BMTS, and CloudLink.
  • Shadow various departments and individuals to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business processes, programs, and culture.
  • Build relationships with customer accounts and develop a planned approach to support their needs.
  • Support Ag Product Specialists and Heavy Demo Equipment Operators with machine start-ups and demos throughout the territory.
  • Complete online product training to familiarize yourself with our product offerings.
  • Assist with setup and work farm shows throughout the territory.
  • Travel required for day trips, overnights, and job shadows or support at Corporate or other facilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agri-Business or related major, or equivalent combination of business experience, training, and/or education.
  • Basic knowledge of Ag Equipment, current farming practices, heavy equipment, or current construction/dirt work operations.
  • Basic knowledge of retail finance contracts and leasing.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft computer skills.
  • Excellent motivation, self-starter with high energy to learn and do more.
  • Willingness to relocate as opportunities arise across the BMC Territory.
