Job Title: Water/Wastewater Graduate Engineer

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater service team in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Engineer, you will work as a key member of a water/wastewater team under the direction of a Project Engineer/Project Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research and evaluation of data
  • Conduct field reviews and other assessments
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations
  • Assist with the creation and submission of technical reports, presentations, and exhibits
  • Prepare hydraulic modeling and technical reports for agency review
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, including horizontal and vertical alignments; plan and profile; utility design and rehabilitation
  • Prepare construction cost estimates/quantity takeoffs
  • Coordinate with internal team members, government entities, utility service providers, and subconsultants
  • Manage task assignments for budget and schedule adherence
  • Perform reviews of all work product for accuracy
  • Ensure division, regional, and company values, policies, and practices are consistently followed within the survey service
  • Lead by example - display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism
Requirements:

  • Prior exposure to AutoDesk Civil3D and Microsoft Office applications
